The thing that prompted the Zion's trip was a hospital work party for my mom and her NICU coworkers. Her friend at work owns the CliffRose Inn in Springdale. It was supposed to be a swim party at the pool, but with lightning brewing we only got to swim for about 10 minutes. The girls loved playing with all the other kids, running around and screaming and looking at nature. I'd love to stay at the CliffRose. It's beautiful!

Lately, we've been playing a TON in our backyard. The girls love yogurt pops (yogurt + kiddie cup + plastic spoon + freezer = super e-z treat) and ask for them all the time. They get a little messy, but it's healthier than a sugary popsicle!
And our craziest news..... We finally got a puppy that's worth keeping. "Pepper" joined our family a few weeks ago. She's about 3 months old and we got her from a family in our ward who's Golden Retriever female got with a rogue neighborhood Black Lab. Pepper is a great little dog - she's grown so much just in the last few weeks we've had her.
The girls turn THREE in July.... I can't believe it. I'm thinking we'll have to have a kid party since the girls love to play with other kids... We'll see what happens.
I've been trying to get the garden in order, and maybe even prep for a yard sale. Wish me luck!
They are so cute! I can't believe how big the girls are getting. Looks like it may be time for another :D. And the new addition, absolutely adorable.
ReplyDeleteYum to yogurt pops!!! Is there a particular flavor combination / brand of yogurt that seems to be a hit? Looks like a healthy summer treat.
