I initially reported that things were progressing slowly for Chloe, but as of yesterday and today, she's gone peepee a few times in the potty and has been SO EXCITED ABOUT IT! She hops up from the potty and yells, "I go peepee, Mama! I went peepee. YAY!" I've been overly excited about it for her because she has tried SO many times without a result. She always got a small treat for trying though. Now she knows that she gets "Two Em-Ems" for going peepee. Even Ady has been saying 'hooray' for Chloe. We all parade down the hall to flush the peepee and wash our hands while congratulating and giving praise. Chloe has been all smiles about it.
Ady also announces her toilet deposits, but she likes to mention the color. "Mama, yellow peepee! I get a treat?" or we've also heard, "Daddy, big potty black poopoo. I get a BIG TREAT!" I think poopoo is black because its in the shadow of the little drain thingy. Whatever.
It was probably a bad idea to try to do both of them at the same time. But it's worked out in the long run.
YAY!! Glad they are both coming along great. They are the cutest kids!
