Smiths Coupon Shopping Trip

My receipt was over 4 feet long!!!

Smiths was "doubling" coupons - any coupon worth less than $1 they turned into a $1 off coupon. So my .25cent, .35cent, .40cent coupons all became $1 off. While I was cutting my coupons out, I got tired of it but realized I was really cutting out "dollars" and that kept me going at 2am. HA!

They also had a $4 off 4 items Proctor & Gamble deal. So, that helped a lot too.

84 items purchased at Smith's. Saved $125 with coupons. Paid $132. Not bad but could have done better :-)

Some things I had coupons for, I didn't actually buy just because it wasn't a good enough deal and/or I wouldn't really use the item to make it worth it.

I'm so glad for my friend April for helping me understand the lingo and the process. I have her on speed dial for any crazy couponing questions.

I'm hoping to hit Rite Aid in the next few days and get diapers for $4 a pack!!
