Heard of eCoupons??

I took another trip to Smiths last night to hit the sale with my coupons. A friend from dispatch (Amber Barker) came too. My coupon Jedi is April - but I stress out at the thought of multiple transactions and having to be OCD-organized.

Smiths is chill - you do only one transaction, boop your Fresh Values card and hand over your wad of coupons (I had 76 to give...) and the checker does the rest. Sure I'm not saving percent off retail that April does, but I'm not as stressed and tedious as her transactions are....

I recently found this cool blog - Slave to Save - and she had links on there from a few eCoupon sites. I had never heard of eCoupons before I read her blog. You can go to a few different sites, click on some coupons you want, and the site loads it on to your Smiths card. (The only store in the St George area that allows ecoupons is Smiths....so far!) I'm totally loving it. So, on one item, I can use an eCoupon AND a regular cut out coupon. THAT RULES!

Barker spent $77 out of pocket. With her coupons, Fresh Values card, and Smith's Daytona 500 deal, she saved 47% off the retail price - GO BARKER!!

  • I got 96 items.
  • Retail Price was $247.13
  • Coupon savings was $36.85
  • Fresh Values Savings was a whopping $98.52
  • Total Savings was $135.37..... 55%
  • Out of Pocket $111.76

I only paid an average of $1.16 per item and I got TONS of cereal (Trix, Honey Nut Cheerios, Kix Frosted Cheerios), Hamburger Helper, Oscar Meyer hot dogs, Totino's Pizzas and Pizza Rolls, Bryers Ice Cream, Cheese, and fruit snacks like Fruit by the Foot and Gushers.

It was like shopping at a DOLLAR STORE!!! Thank you Smiths!!

Jealous yet??
