The Family Book

A while back, I decided to make a photo album for the girls to look at of all their family members. They both really enjoy looking at pictures and having Ryan and me point at who's who and name names. So, I grabbed a few dollar store photo albums and printed off some good shots of everyone in the family. I made one for the McBride side, and one for the Sharich side - just because they could only hold 16 pics each.

The girls absolutely love these books. They find them and bring them over to us when we are sitting on the couch and want us to 'read' them.

We point at a picture of "Aunt Annie" and say "This is Aunt Annie." You get the idea. I've found the girls fighting over these books. I've also found them sitting on the bottom stairs holding the books in their hands and skimming through the pictures.

Today, the Sharich book was on the couch near where I was sitting. I picked up the book and said, "Oh look! There's Grandma Sheila." Chloe leans down and kisses the photo of Grandma. So cute.

Then, we turn to a picture of Paul. "There is Grandpa Paul." Chloe gently took the book away from me and hugged the whole book.

It doesn't get much cuter than that...
