I feel strange getting an award for just doing my job.
But, I did.
The short story is, I took a 911 call from a woman who
was frantic and I helped calm her down so she could
do CPR on her husband. Thankfully, the officer arrived
quickly and took over CPR - she was getting
exhausted.
Pictured below is the "patient" 72 year old Dave
Thomas, first officer on scene Zachary Maughan
who took over CPR, and me. Dave walked out
of the hospital only two days after his near
death experience.
Here is the award. I'll have to put it in a shadow
box with the nice letter that Dave & Mary
wrote to me.
