I guess in St George, I really don't have to wait much longer for Spring or even summer. But, I have been to the park a few times with the girls and they have a blast.
I'm wishing that our backyard was a little more toddler friendly. Right now it's only dog friendly. Just a large piece of red dirt with weeds.
I'd love to get a shaded area with a little rubber play pad, or woodchips for them to play on in the mornings so I can garden at the same time. Then we could put their slide outside instead of in the living room and also have a covered sandbox since they seem fascinated with getting dirty at the playgrounds.
They love the wagon they got from Grandma Sheila & Grandpa Paul. But I've also been thinking about getting some cheapo little tricycles for them to ride on the sidewalk in front of our house.
It's all just wishful thinking, but it's so fun to imagine the girls riding tricycles and playing in the backyard.
Ahh.... Hopes and dreams!
I'll keep an eye out for ya for one of those turtle-shaped covered sandboxes. I see them all the time for pretty cheap on the classifieds. Sandboxes are the BEST! :)
