What's Behind the Couch?

Well, this picture isn't what happened, but it shows the setup so I'll have less explaining. This pic was taken a few months ago. It was the onset of loving remotes and knowing what they are used for: to change the 'magic box' as my dad calls it.

See behind the couch, there's a window. I have those curtains up, but I don't want them to get wrinkled so the couch is pulled out a few inches. The girls LOVE to drop stuff back there: from tooth brushes, to cheerios and animal crackers, binkies, dolls, even the remote every once in a while. And both girls LOVE to look out the window for kitties. We live in an area where there's plenty of stray cats so there's usually one lurking around close. Sometimes when there's 2 or 3 kitties outside, I'll take the girls outside and let them try to chase the cats. They absolutely love it. I never remember to take the video camera with me, but that's a goal.

So, today, the girls were looking for kitties. My cell phone started ringing, so I went in the kitchen to grab it. Suddenly, I hear someone CRYING and think, "Who pushed who off the couch?"

I look over and I see Chloe still looking for kitties. I see Adelyn's little head smooshed between the window and the couch. Somehow, she got so excited to see a kitty, that she climbed over the back of the couch and slipped into the crevice between the couch and the wall. She couldn't move at all.

I ran over and pulled the couch out from the wall. There was no blood, no scrapes. She cried hysterically for a few minutes. By then it was certainly time for naps. They both went down with no problems at all!
